      Healing Sangkap: “The Greatest Siomai”

      Equipment needed:

      • Steamer
      • Parchment paper

      Ingredients:

      • 1 pack siomai/ dumpling wrapper
      • 1/3 kilo lean ground beef
      • 1 egg (beaten)
      • 1/2 cup alugbati leaves (blanched and chopped)
      • 1/2 cup red kamote tops (blanched and chopped)
      • 1/3 cup chopped fresh spring onion
      • 1/2 cup Japanese corn kernels
      • 1/3 cup grated carrots
      • 4 cloves garlic (grated)
      • Seaweed salt
      • Pepper

      Dipping sauce:

      • 1/3 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
      • 1/2 tsp freshly chopped lemongrass
      • 1/2 tsp grated ginger
      • HG Seaweed salt
      • Pepper
      • HG Honey

      Procedure:

      • Combine all ingredients in a large clear mixing bowl. Season accordingly with seaweed salt and pepper.
      • Get a spoonful of your dumpling mixture and mold it into your siomai wrapper.
      • Steam for 15-20 minutes.
      • Make the dipping sauce and serve together.
