Healing Sangkap: “The Greatest Siomai”

Equipment needed:
- Steamer
- Parchment paper
Ingredients:
- 1 pack siomai/ dumpling wrapper
- 1/3 kilo lean ground beef
- 1 egg (beaten)
- 1/2 cup alugbati leaves (blanched and chopped)
- 1/2 cup red kamote tops (blanched and chopped)
- 1/3 cup chopped fresh spring onion
- 1/2 cup Japanese corn kernels
- 1/3 cup grated carrots
- 4 cloves garlic (grated)
- Seaweed salt
- Pepper
Dipping sauce:
- 1/3 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1/2 tsp freshly chopped lemongrass
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- HG Seaweed salt
- Pepper
- HG Honey
Procedure:
- Combine all ingredients in a large clear mixing bowl. Season accordingly with seaweed salt and pepper.
- Get a spoonful of your dumpling mixture and mold it into your siomai wrapper.
- Steam for 15-20 minutes.
- Make the dipping sauce and serve together.
